A few lines on what’s new this year and about the magnificent slopes that our area offers us.
The first amazing piece of news is that Monterosa Ski has decided to keep last year’s ski pass prices fixed, so there won’t be any increases, I’d say it’s great news, given the period we’re going through.
We recommend buying your ski passes online as you will always have guaranteed access and lower prices than buying them at the ticket office.
The Happy Ski promotion provided by the Monterosa remains active and will be during the following periods:
10-25 December
January 7-15
March 18-April 16.
Staying in our hotel for a minimum of 3 midweek nights or 4 including the weekend and you will be entitled to a 30% discount off the skipass.
We are in the best area for skiing, the slopes you can try are:
Going up to Colle Bettaforca you will be able to ski up to Champoluc via very wide slopes, difficulty between red and blue, I have personally done them and they can be traveled easily because they are very wide and not too steep.
On the opposite side, however, you go up to Passo dei Salati, where you can ski up to Alagna in Piedmont!!
Here the slopes are many and a little more tricky (they alternate between red and black), but the vista it reserves makes it worth the extra effort.
For the more expert you can go up to Punta Indren, a black slope, the most coveted by skiers.
Coming back down to our side instead you will pass by Lake Gabiet where the view is breathtaking, the lake will be frozen, but during the summer it is a wonderful place to stop for a picnic.
Around 4.30 pm you can ski directly back to our Pub where you can enjoy an après ski worthy of the such a great day.
